Port Of Miami 2 Delivers More Luxury Rap from Rick Ross
Ricky Rozay is bringing it back to the beginning with the sequal to his tenth (did y’all realize he dropped so many?) solo project Port Of Miami 2! Now before we get to 2, we have to acknowledge that the original Port Of Miami came out in 2006 and it still gets play. Definitely a contender for a classic album. 9 albums later, Ross brings it full circle and is still giving us those luxury raps over theatric production. So far for an early favorite surprisingly (or not so much) I’m going with the Trop produced, Gunplay assisted, “Nobody’s Favorite”. I’m still a little upset Pusha T didn’t make the final cut of Maybach Music IV though to be honest. Aside from that minor letdown, its definitely a solid album I’d suggest you check out.
The Luxury Bars We Didn’t Know We Needed
Ross has been dropping luxury bars on us for almost 15 years now and somehow, someway, it never come off as braggadocious. I think it has a lot to do with the presentation. Its just so soulful you kinda get lost in the music and forget Ross is completely stunting on us. Question. Does Rick Ross have the best ear in the game for production or what?
In case you haven’t checked out yet, go ahead and press play on the complete project below. Snippets only if you don’t have a Spotify account but aty least you can catch the vibe!
Let’s be honest, the Port Of Miami 2 tracklist is pretty fire too
